Day 31: God Alone - With, In and through Mary - 33 Days to Total Consecration

"I am all yours, and all that I have is yours, O most loving Jesus, through Mary, your most holy Mother"(True Devotion, 233).

DAY 31 of 33:
SECTION 4: ENTERING INTO GREAT HEIGHTS OF HOLINESS DESTINED FOR THOSE CONSECRATED TO MARY
Today we will contemplate the holiness Mary leads us to ...taking Mary herself, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Mother Teresa and St. Louis de Montfort as our guides.
Action:
1. Resolve to pray a complete set of mysteries of the Rosary every day - as an act of love to God and in fulfillment of Mary's requests to us - see day 8 for instructions/ guidance on how to fit this into your day.
2. Skim through the accompanying pictures and the extraordinary wisdom of St. Louis de Montfort and St. Mother Teresa and read through as much (below) as possible.

3. Continue to choose to enter more deeply into the daily prayer program (below) at least in this way:

Ponder and pray The Glory Be today and the accompanying Scripture texts as you meditate and
PRAY THE JOYFUL MYSTERIES,
THE LUMINOUS MYSTERIES and
THE SORROWFUL MYSTERIES OF THE ROSARY
- while praying for the grace to listen, to hear and respond to God as Mary does.
And to pray for the grace to surrender whatever is keeping us from responding fully to God - in and through and with Mary’s love and help.
4. Take steps to make the Mass the center of your life - begin to strive to participate in daily Mass as often as possible.

5. In preparation for our consecration, go to confession beforehand (or within 8 days afterward) - then choose to make the sacrament a regular part of your life (i.e. at least monthly).
6. Pray the 4th Glorious Mystery: The Assumption of Mary into heaven

Mary goes before us to be reunited with her Son and the Most Holy Trinity on high - as well as all the angels and saints who had gone before her and who awaited her coming!
Imagine the reunion! It truly is a glorious mystery!
Mary being taken up to heaven is a great sign and hope for all of us who believe!
At our death, we likewise will have the opportunity to be taken up to heaven!
Not in both body and soul as Mary is-
(until the final coming of Christ - when He will be all in all - and our bodies will rise from our graves to meet our souls on high) -
but our souls, who have been faithful and have clung to Jesus and Mary and abandoned themselves into their care -
can be assured of one day assuming our own place in heavenly glory!
In fact, I have often foreseen Mary reaching down to clasp us by the hand - drawing us to herself in heaven at the moment of our death - especially all who have consecrated themselves to her, including all our loved ones whom we've consecrated to her in great hope for their salvation! (although we may need to be purified and purged first before attaining heavenly glory).
Let us hold fast to that hope - especially in times when we are in great distress.

Today, also, as our consecration draws so near, I've included below more information and wisdom from St. Maximilian Kolbe and from his method of consecration for us to ponder and consider before our upcoming consecration day, which includes an option of redemptive suffering - an offering of all our sufferings united to Jesus' and Mary's sufferings for the redemption of the world. It is an additional and optional "Knight at the Foot of the Cross" consecration.

And, please note the importance of going to confession in order to prepare well for our consecration. It is noted below, but also I've noted it above as well.

Lastly, I encourage each of us to watch Dr. Brant Pitre's teaching on Mary's identity as Queen Mother sometime before (or after) our consecration:
https://watch.formed.org/lectio-mary-with-dr-brant-pitre/season:1/videos/the-queen-mother

Let us begin by praying the

GLORY BE
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. Amen.

Day 30: God Alone - With, In and through Mary - 33 Days to Total Consecration

"I am all yours, and all that I have is yours, O most loving Jesus, through Mary, your most holy Mother"(True Devotion, 233).

DAY 27 of 33:
SECTION 4: ENTERING INTO GREAT HEIGHTS OF HOLINESS DESTINED FOR THOSE CONSECRATED TO MARY
Today we will contemplate the holiness Mary leads us to ...taking Mary herself, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Mother Teresa and St. Louis de Montfort as our guides.
Action:

And to pray for the grace to surrender whatever is keeping us from responding fully to God - in and through and with Mary’s love and help.
4. Begin to take steps to make the Mass the center of your life.

5. Pray the 3rd Glorious Mystery: The Descent of the Holy Spirit

Mighty signs and wonders!
Thousands of those dead in sin repenting and being baptized!
The sick being cured just through St. Peter's shadow falling on them!
The dead being raised!
What wondrous fulfillment of Jesus' promise:

"Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these" John 14:12.

Today we contemplate the second person of the Holy Trinity and His outpouring of love and grace and power upon the Apostles, which transformed them from fearful, weak and timid men to men of outstanding boldness who went forth and changed the world forever. We, too, are called to be apostles of love, apostles of Mary, who are filled with the Holy Spirit in and through their intimate spousal union.
Mary, comes to us in and through the Spirit, even from heaven to renew the face of the earth. Mary does this through us - through our prayers!
“the Holy Spirit will renew the face of the earth.”
All this can be hastened, and we can contribute to it, through our daily prayer.
Prayer in hiddenness. …
In silence, offering our lives, in union with Christ. That is the beauty of life. That is the fullness of life. And so, we can contribute and really become always more the Apostles of Love of Our Lady. She can clothe us daily, more and more through the Blood of Jesus.
The Sacraments with Christ, her Son, who today through us wants to be present to the world. And draw all things to the Father. Amen."  An excerpt from a homily in Medjugorje by Fr. Maximilian Dalvai
Today, lastly, we consider Mary coming as Our Lady of Guadalupe on this December 12th, her feast day - and the mighty signs and wonders still at work through this heavenly, incorruptible image. And, I share our most amazing miracle that we received through her prayers.

Let us begin by praying the
GLORY BE
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. Amen.

Day 29: God Alone - With, In and through Mary - 33 Days to Total Consecration

"I am all yours, and all that I have is yours, O most loving Jesus, through Mary, your most holy Mother" (True Devotion, 233).

DAY 29 of 33:
SECTION 4:
ENTERING INTO THE GLORIOUS MYSTERIES OF THE ROSARY
contemplating the 2nd Glorious Mystery: the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven with Mary, St.

4. Begin to take steps to make the Mass the center of your life.
5. Pray the 2nd Glorious Mystery: the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven

Today we will consider Jesus going before us into heaven to prepare a place for us! This is a mystery filled with hope - and a mystery that challenges us to stake our lives on our faith and live fully for God - and to accept His Great Commissioning:
“All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Matthew 28: 18-20
Jesus' resurrection and ascension is such great news!
One who proclaimed this with his whole life is St. John Paul II.
Today we look more deeply into the life of John Paul and his devotion to Total Consecration, which enabled him to reach such great heights of sanctity and to fulfill God's will for His life in such extraordinary ways. If you ever doubt the purpose of Consecration and its impact on our lives, look at St. John Paul II for inspiration.
In the video, I recount instance after instance of Mary saving his life. When we fear to take on this consecration and abandon ourselves to God, remember these instances of Mary saving John Paul and think about all the times we, likewise, have been saved.
May all of us who take Mary as our Mother and Queen in this consecration take comfort in heaven's protection, for:
This powerful Queen of heaven would sooner dispatch millions of angels to help one of her servants than have it said that a single faithful and trusting servant of hers had fallen victim to the malice, number, and power of his enemies. St. Louis de Montfort
May these mysteries, our great commission, as well as the wonderful promise of Mary's protection embolden us to live lives fully surrendered to God through Mary, so we can fulfill the plans God has for each of us and share the greatest news in the world with those around us!

Let us begin by praying the
GLORY BE:
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. Amen.

ENTERING INTO MYSTERY OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS FROM THE DEAD
In the Scriptures we read about the sky turning completely dark in the middle of the day, the earth quaking and temple veil being torn from top to bottom that veiled the Holy of Holies at Jesus' death; and then, that people began rising from their tombs and walking among the people at His Resurrection!
Imagine!
The Scriptures and tradition give us so much to meditate on! May you enjoy this video and rejoice in our God,
Emmanuel,
Who "comes to bring comfort to His people",
Who has "expiated our guilt and given us double for all our sins!"
For "Our Lord comes with Power"
and has come to save us
and free us from sin and death!
"O Death where is your victory? O Death where is your sting?"
With, in and through Mary, may we grow in courage and faith in Jesus and in His power to bring what is dead in our own lives back to life again! Amen.
Let us begin by praying the

GLORY BE:
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. Amen.
